A is the Fourth Raikage of Kumogakure. His partner and brother is Killer B.As the Raikage, A is undoubtedly an extremely powerful shinobi. In his fight with Sasuke, B mentioned that before him, only A was able to hold his own against the Eight-Tails. He could easily defeat a fully transformed Jūgo and nearly defeat Sasuke, despite the latter's extensive use of the Mangekyō Sharingan. A's signature fighting style combines taijutsu and ninjutsu to form the powerful nintaijutsu, which circumvented time-consuming hand seals.
